Richard Shinto, M.D. is InnovoCare Health’s president and CEO. Dr. Shinto brings a unique set of skills to his position. He was a internist and pulmonologist for 20 years. Plus he has over 20 years experience in operational and clinical managed care. Prior to joining InnovaCare Health Dr. Rick Shinto was CEO of Aveta Inc., NAMM California’s chief medical officer and Chief Medical Officer and Chief Operating Officer at Medical Pathways Management Company. He also served as MedPartners corporate vice president for 3 years and Orange County, California Cal Optima Health plans chief medical officer. InnovaCare Health’s chief administrative officer is Penelope Kokkinides. Before joining the company in 2015 Ms. Kokkinides was COO and vice president of clinical operational at Aveta Inc. She also spent a few years as executive vice president and COO of Centerlight Healthcare. Penelope Kokkinides has spent over 20 years working in the managed care industry. She specialized in government programs. Ms. Kokkinides has vast knowledge and expertise about developing and managing healthcare operations and processes and clinical programs. Her focus was improving organizational infrastructure and efficiencies.

Kokkinides also has experience with managed care management and strategic direction, and developing and implementing health care models.
